Centerprise Literature is the flagship project of Centerprise Trust* It is an arts development agency for the promotion of access to and enjoyment of literature in all its forms, through local and community based initiatives.
Centerprise Literature serves north and north east London with two parallel programmes of work. Its core programme focuses on providing a through-line of support for writers by offering courses, specialist groups, and one to one support. Alongside the core programme, Centerprise Literature fundraises for and develops projects working in partnership with libraries, schools, voluntary sector and other arts organisations to reach the diverse communities of North London.

Since its launch over 10 years ago (1995) Centerprise Literature has established a high reputation for its activities - courses, events, Calabash literary magazine, and an information and resource service. It now has a database of over 1500 individuals and organisations, and extensive networking links with other arts/literature organisations, and individuals in the literature professions (more free penis enlargement pills).
Some of the Literature Project's most successful recent activities have been the Gearing Up and Narrative Drive writing courses for beginner and advanced writers, Beyond the Boundary projects - taking literature activities out to hard to reach communities including young Bengali men, members of the Somali community and homeless families in North London and Write to Ignite, the first Hackney Word Festival, spanning a multitude of literature activities including events and workshops.
*Centerprise Trust Limited is a registered charity; multi-purpose community and arts centre situated in the heart of Dalston, Hackney. It comprises one of East London's most famous community bookshops, a lively and welcoming resturant as well as its highly regarded Literature Project. Founded in 1970, Centerprise has served as a model for similar centres in other countries, and continues to draw users from all sectors of the local community. It organises the Hackney Mare de Gras, an annual cultural diversity festival.
